Rudderow presents at 10th annual Landmark Conference Summer Research Symposium

SELINSGROVE – Christina Rudderow of Fleetwood presented research this summer at the 10th annual Landmark Conference Summer Research Symposium. The event was hosted by Juniata College.

The research Rudderow presented, supervised by Professor of Biology Jack Holt, discusses variability of diatom biofilm communities in Green Gap, a small head water stream during the summers of 2015-2018.

The symposium brings together undergraduate researchers from colleges and universities within the NCAA’s Division III Landmark Conference, which includes Susquehanna. Students presented the results of the summer research that was done in collaboration with faculty, in poster displays or oral presentation sessions.

Rudderow, a biology major in the Class of 2021, is a 2017 graduate of Fleetwood High School and the daughter of Joe and Claudia Rudderow.
