Kutztown University women’s bowling alum Taylor Strothmann has been appointed as the new head women’s bowling coach at Felician University. She is the fourth KU alum to become an NCAA coach.
Strothmann served as a volunteer assistant at Felician last season. She was a four-year starter at KU, earning First-Team All-East Coast Conference honors as a senior and team captain in 2016. During that season, she was named to four all-tournament teams.
She ranks 15th in school history with a career average of 183.1.
Strothmann earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from KU in 2016 and a master’s in child and adolescent clinical psychology from Montclair State University in 2018. She is pursuing a certification in sports and exercise psychology from Seton Hall University.
Along with Strothmann, KU’s alumni in the coaching ranks include Kayla Jones, head coach at LIU Brooklyn, Kayla Stamm, head coach at Delaware State, and Lauren Stamm, assistant coach at Delaware State.
