KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore bowler Angela Kozma finished with a team-high 19.7 frame average at the FDU Jamboree in Stratford, N.J. last weekend. And in doing so, has been awarded as this week’s East Coast Conference (ECC) Bowler of the Week.
Over 127 frames at the FDU Jamboree, Kozma held a 44.8 strike percentage and filled 85.8 percent of her frames. She ranked seventh in the field with a traditional average of 198.0.
It is the third honor that Kozma has achieved from the ECC, earning ECC Rookie of the Week honors twice last season. She was also named to the All-ECC First Team and the ECC Championships All-Tournament Team last year.
Kutztown improved to 20-7 on the year with a seventh-place showing at the FDU Jamboree. KU is currently ranked eighth in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Poll.
