As part of Red Ribbon Week (October 23-31), Governor Mifflin Middle School students will have the opportunity to hear a strong message about addiction from someone who lived through it. Frank Cascino, a recovering addict and founder of The Frontline, will talk with students during an assembly that wraps up a week of activities focused on positive life choices.
Cascino’s story of addiction started during his teen years. Now 44, he will celebrate six years of sobriety next month. Cascino recently started The Frontline, an organization dedicated to educating youth about early addition prevention and the importance of healthy decision making.
