READING PUBLIC LIBRARY TO PRESENT PROGRAM ON LENAPE LIFEWAYS

Reading Public Library will feature a program exploring the history and culture of Pennsylvania’s Lenape Native Americans at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Main Library, 100 S. Fifth St.

The program, entitled “Lenape Lifeways,” will be presented by Carla J.S. Messinger, Cultural Educator and Director of Native American
Heritage Programs.

The program will present a true picture of the peaceful, nature-centered lifestyle of the Lenapes, the first inhabitants of eastern Pennsylvania.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
