Rome man arrested following a multi-state investigation

On March 29, 2018, the New York State Police arrested Cody A. Madonia, 26, of Rome, N.Y., following a multi-agency investigation into numerous complaints throughout the United States where the defendant failed to provide purchased equipment to the victims from his business Proforce Excavation and Equipment located at 8490 Turin Road, Rome, N.Y.

Madonia is alleged to have failed to provide these pieces of equipment upon receiving payment of more than $90,000 from the victims.
