Lebanon Valley College recognizes spring student-athletes

Women’s tennis captured the MAC championship.
Nick Scullin earned Outdoor All-Region recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Veronica Venezia was named the ECAC Division III Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Year.

Lebanon Valley College recognizes spring student-athletes

ANNVILLE – Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the spring sports season. Local students include:

  • Anne Baney of Fleetwood, a graduate of Berks Catholic High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science and was a member of the women’s track and field team.
  • Jennifer Eck of Reading, a graduate of Exeter Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science and was a member of the women’s lacrosse team. Eck received the following award(s): Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth All-Conference First Team and All-Eastern College Athletic Conference Second Team and IWLCA’s All-Metro Region Second Team.
  • Cameron Epple of Wernersville, a graduate of Warwick High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in economics and was a member of the men’s lacrosse team. Epple received the following award(s): Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Second Team All-Conference.
  • Leah Franklin of Reading, a graduate of Exeter Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration and was a member of the women’s lacrosse team. Franklin received the following award(s): Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth All-Conference First Team and All-Eastern College Athletic Conference Second Team.
  • Melanie Haas of Mohrsville, a graduate of Hamburg Area Jr-Sr High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education and special education and was a member of the women’s tennis team. Haas received the following award(s): Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth All-Conference Honorable Mention.
  • Emma Jones of Sinking Spring, a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in biology and was a member of the women’s lacrosse team. Jones received the following award(s): Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth All-Conference Second Team and and IWLCA’s All-Metro Region Second Team.
  • Deavor Koch of Reading, a graduate of Exeter Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration and was a member of the baseball team.
  • Sarah Musselman of Reading, a graduate of Exeter Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science and was a member of the softball team.
  • Todd Reedy of Wernersville, a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration and was a member of the men’s golf team.
  • Ryan Showalter of Sinking Spring, a graduate of Wilson High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science and was a member of the baseball team.
  • Savannah Toth of Douglassville, a graduate of Daniel Boone Jr-Sr High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in neuroscience and was a member of the softball team. Toth received the following award(s): Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth All-Conference First Team.
  • Jonathan Yenser of Womelsdorf, a graduate of Tulpehocken High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration and was a member of the men’s tennis team.
  • Daymond Zweizig of Reading, a graduate of Oley Valley High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in psychology and business administration and was a member of the baseball team.
