Governor Mifflin musicians reunite for 65th anniversary concert

What: Governor Mifflin’s musical alumni will return to the stage where it all started for the Governor Mifflin Music Association’s 65th Anniversary Alumni Concert. The concert theme, “Strong and Mighty…Mifflin Music Lives On” is a tribute to the district and community’s longstanding commitment to the arts.

Governor Mifflin alumni from 1968 through 2017 will participate in the concert, which includes both instrumental and vocal performances. Notable alumni participating include two-time Tony and Emmy Award winner Dale Badway (’84) and Erich Cawalla (’97), founder of The Uptown Band.

The Governor Mifflin Music Association is a non-profit organization formed to provide support for the Governor Mifflin music program. For the past five years, the Governor Mifflin School District has been awarded the national distinction of one of the “Best Communities for Music Education” by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation.
