Alvernia Orientation Weekend Leaders (OWL) or Orientation Assistants (OA) are current university students who play integral roles in New Student Orientation. The main role of all OWLs and OAs is to assist in making new students feel welcome. OWLs and OAs develop leadership skills and meet new people. The program is competitive and involves an application process, in-person interviews, good academic standing, and training.
